Sawiris Cultural Award

In 2018, I-Events collaborated with Sawiris Foundation for Social Development (SFSD) in organizing the annual Sawiris Cultural Award (SCA) ceremony, which took place on Friday 25 January 2019, at the Main Theater of the Cairo Opera House.
SFSD launched the SCA in 2005, the Award supports and enriches the cultural enlightenment efforts in Egypt.

El Gouna Film Festival

El Gouna film festival (GFF) is one of the leading festivals in the MENA region. The festival kicked off its first edition in 2017, hosting some of the most prominent Arab and international celebrities. GFF also took place in 2018 and yet again proved success and prominence. The Festival’s goal is to connect filmmakers from the region with their international counterparts in the spirit of cooperation and cultural exchange through the presentation of the finest recent cinematic productions.

El Gouna International Squash Open

El Gouna International Squash Open is a PSA World Series event that was first introduced in 2010 and took place in 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. It is one of the most important and demanding tournaments in the PSA World Tour, offering the largest cash prize ($330,000) and attracting the world’s best players. This year’s tournament takes place from the 18th to the 27th of April.

Al Ahram International Squash Open

After a decade of absence , Al Ahram International Squash Open returned to its most iconic venue the Great Pyramid of Giza – one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Part of the 2016/17 PSA World Tour season, the tournament took place from the 17th till the 23rd of September 2016.

Alexandria International Squash Open

The Alexandria International Squash Open 2015 is a PSA World Tour event. The first one of its kind , attracting the World’s top female squash players to compete at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina from the 4th-10th of June 2015.

Orascom Development PSA Women’s World Championship

For the first time, Orascom Development PSA Women’s World Championship took place at the Egyptian Red Sea Town of El Gouna from April 7th-14th, 2017.

Orascom Development PSA Women’s World Championship serves as the individual World championship for squash players. The World’s best female squash players compete for the first time in El Gouna for the title of the year, offering a total prize money of $165,000.
